Axis Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Axis (“Axis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the owner and operator of https://www.axisdb.tech and the Axis software, applications, components, and any associated services (collectively, the “Platform”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Platform.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into, and should be read together with, the Axis Subscriber Terms. Where this Privacy Policy and the Subscriber Terms directly conflict with respect to privacy matters, this Privacy Policy shall control. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect — Your Account Data
When you or your business (“Subscriber,” “you,” or “your”) create and use an Axis account, we collect information you provide directly, including:
- Contact details, such as your first name, last name, email address, and phone number
- Company details, such as your business name, street address, unit, city, region, postal code, and country
- Business identifiers, such as tax numbers, license numbers, and certificate numbers
- Branding assets you upload, such as a company logo and brand color
- Billing identifiers associated with your subscription, processed and stored via our payment processor, Stripe
We also automatically collect limited technical information when you use the Platform, such as your browser type, device information, and usage patterns, through the analytics tools described in the “Cookies and Similar Technologies” section below.
Information We Process on Your Behalf — Your Customers’ Data
The Platform allows Subscribers to create and send invoices, quotes, and related communications (including via WhatsApp) to their own customers. In doing so, Subscribers may input personal information about their customers into the Platform, such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers (“End-Customer Data”).
With respect to End-Customer Data, Axis acts solely as a service provider processing that information on behalf of, and under the instructions of, the Subscriber who submitted it. Axis does not independently collect, control, or determine the purposes for which End-Customer Data is used — the Subscriber remains responsible for ensuring it has the right to share this information with Axis and for responding to any privacy requests from its own customers. If you are an end-customer of an Axis Subscriber and have questions about how your information was collected or used, please contact the Subscriber directly.

We use the information described above to:

Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies to operate securely (for example, to keep you signed in) and to understand how the Platform is used through analytics tools described below.
Where required by applicable law — currently, for visitors located in Quebec — we display a consent banner and do not load non-essential analytics tools until you have made a choice. Visitors elsewhere in Canada are not shown this banner, consistent with applicable privacy law in those jurisdictions, though analytics use is still disclosed here. You may change your analytics preference at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the Platform.
Third-Party Service Providers
We share information with the following categories of third-party service providers, solely as necessary to operate the Platform:

These providers are only permitted to use information as necessary to provide their services to Axis and are subject to their own privacy practices. Axis does not sell personal information.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and our legitimate business and legal requirements. To make a request, contact us at support@axisdb.tech.
Children’s Privacy
The Platform is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@axisdb.tech so we can address it.
