Axis Subscriber Terms

Welcome to the Axis Subscriber Terms. This is an agreement (“Agreement”) between Axis, the owner and operator of the website https://www.axisdb.tech and the Axis software, applications, components, and any associated services offered (collectively, the “Platform”), and you (“you”, “your”, or “Subscriber”), a Subscriber of the Platform.

In addition to this Agreement, all Subscribers must agree to the Axis User Terms (“User Terms”) and are subject to all portions of the User Terms. Where this Agreement and the User Terms directly conflict, this Agreement shall control. This Agreement is incorporated into the User Terms and forms one agreement for all Users who are Subscribers of the Platform.

Throughout this Agreement, the words “Axis,” “us,” “we,” and “our” refer to Axis.

By clicking “I agree,” subscribing to the Platform, or accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. We may amend these Subscriber Terms or the Privacy Policy from time to time and may notify you when we do so. If you do not agree, please cease using the Platform immediately.

Subscriber Accounts

A Subscriber may create an account under this Agreement and may do so on behalf of a business or organization. Subscriber must designate any authorized users permitted to access the Platform.

Subscriber is solely responsible for all actions taken by authorized users and agrees that all authorized users must comply with the User Terms. Subscriber agrees to indemnify Axis for any damages arising from authorized users’ use of the Platform.

Platform Access & Use

Upon proper registration and subscription, Axis grants Subscriber access to the Platform in accordance with this Agreement.

The Platform may only be used:

  • For lawful purposes
  • In compliance with applicable laws
  • For Subscriber’s internal commercial use

The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis. Axis makes no warranties regarding availability, performance, or features.

Axis reserves the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue any portion of the Platform
  • Add or remove features at its discretion
  • Terminate access if this Agreement is breached

Failure to terminate access does not constitute a waiver of any violation.

Subscriber Responsibilities

Subscriber represents and warrants that:

  • The Platform will be used solely for internal commercial purposes.
  • The person accepting this Agreement has authority to bind the Subscriber.
  • Any content submitted is professional and compliant with industry standards.
  • Subscriber User Content does not violate third-party rights.
  • Subscriber will comply with all applicable local laws (including spam and marketing laws).
  • Subscriber agrees to indemnify Axis for any breach of this section.

Subscriber User Content

Any content submitted by a Subscriber (“Subscriber User Content”) remains the responsibility of the Subscriber.

Subscriber represents that:

  • They own or have properly licensed all submitted content
  • The content does not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
  • All necessary permissions have been obtained

Axis may monitor, remove, or disable access to Subscriber User Content at its discretion, but is not obligated to do so.

Storage

Axis may provide reasonable storage for Subscriber User Content but does not guarantee availability, retention, or security of stored content.

Axis reserves the right to:

  • Modify storage limits
  • Charge for excess storage
  • Discontinue storage at any time

Axis is not liable for loss or deletion of Subscriber User Content.

Payments

Subscriber agrees to pay all applicable fees for subscriptions and services. Where applicable:

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance
  • Fees may recur automatically
  • Payments are processed through third-party providers
  • Axis may suspend access for overdue payments

All pricing is listed in the currency shown at purchase.

Automatic Renewal

If automatic billing is enabled, Subscriber authorizes Axis to charge their selected payment method on a recurring basis unless canceled through the account dashboard.

Subscriptions automatically renew for additional periods equal to the initial term unless canceled.

Refund Policy

Axis may offer a free plan or trial period.

All paid subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable, even if unused.

Subscribers may cancel at any time to stop future billing. No refunds will be issued for prior payments unless granted at Axis’s sole discretion.

Pricing Changes

Axis reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Subscribers will be notified of price increases and may cancel if they do not agree.

Third-Party Integrations

Axis may provide integrations with third-party software.

Axis does not endorse or guarantee third-party services and is not responsible for:

  • Third-party performance
  • Data transmission issues
  • Additional third-party fees

Use of third-party services is at Subscriber’s own risk.

Account Holds

Axis may place a hold on an account if:

  • There is suspected violation of this Agreement
  • Required by payment processors
  • Required by law

Axis may suspend access while a hold is active.

Support

Axis may provide standard support for the Platform on an “as available” basis.

Axis reserves the right to charge for support beyond standard levels.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Termination

Subscriber may cancel their subscription at any time via their Axis dashboard or by contacting support@axisdb.tech.

Axis may terminate access if:

  • Subscriber violates applicable laws
  • Subscriber breaches this Agreement
  • Subscriber’s actions may harm Axis or third parties

Upon termination, access may be immediately disabled and stored content may not be retained.
